PAUL WINGO
Paul Wingo started playing guitar at age 11. At 16, he began his studies with "Red" Dwyer and George Fitzgerald, and he attended the University of Maryland from 1964 to 1968. Paul was a member of the Army Blues Band for 6 years, during which time he often played at the White House and the Vice President’s residence. He has performed with many jazz artists, including Zoot Sims, Al Cohn, Pepper Adams, Phil Woods, Herb Ellis, Charlie Byrd, and Bill Potts' and Mike Crotty's Big Bands.
