BRAD LINDE ENSEMBLE
Brad Linde is a saxophonist/pianist/educator living in the Washington D.C. metro area. Linde leads his own groups throughout Washington, D.C., Virginia, Maryland, and North Carolina and has performed with jazz greats such as Barry Harris, Butch Warren, Gretchen Parlato, John Riley, Marcus Roberts, Conrad Herwig, Ray Vega, Jason Marsalis, Jon Metzger and Slide Hampton. He has toured Germany, Austria, Spain and Portugal, and performed at the East Coast Jazz Festival. His ensembles can be heard at D.C. jazz clubs including Utopia, Bohemian Caverns and Twins Jazz. Brad has maintained an active teaching career for over 10 years. He has taught applied lessons, jazz improvisation, jazz combo and big band at the collegiate level and was the founder and director of the University of Maryland Jazz Repertory Ensemble.
