KYONTE
Singer/songwriter Kyonte’ (pronounced Key-yon-tay), a Washington DC native, possesses an eclectic persona that surpasses his outer appearance. Fueled by his passion for music, he began singing at the age of three. By the age of ten his ability to play the piano and construction of melodies began to grab the attention of those he came in contact with. He began pursuing a career in music in 2001 and decided to make it full-time in 2004. In 2005, Kyonte’ began working with superproducer Chucky Thompson, Trakfire Productions and PRS Musik. These proved to be his most valuable relationships and in 2007, he co-produced the Grammy nominated single “Woman” by Raheem DeVaughn (Jive Records), co-wrote and co-produced “Lights Go Out” for Foxy Brown (Koch Records), and co-produced “Hearts Desire” for Brent Jones (EMI Gospel).
